CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR VEHICLE ELECTRONICS
Exsel Electronics develops control systems for sensitive electronic equipment carried on military, civilian and blue-light vehicles, enabling multiple sets of equipment from different manufacturers to be controlled from a common, simple user interface.

This requires a detailed understanding of the equipment, in particular both its software and hardware interfaces. Solutions are delivered with robust hardware capable of withstanding rigorous vehicle environments, and secure software developed by security-cleared personnel.

We partner closely with our clients; from creating the initial specification through to prototyping, trials and validation, testing and accreditation and then onto delivering multiple units for active service. Even beyond this, Exsel Electronics offers complete through-life support and spares services.
CASE STUDY
Exsel Electronics worked in close collaboration with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the DE&S Force Protection Delivery Team (FPDT) to develop a control system for sensitive electronic equipment to be carried on military vehicles. The system was designed and built by Exsel Electronics, from the written specification at the start of the project to a finished system. So far over 1,700 electronic control systems and units have been delivered into active service, and ongoing service support is being provided.
